General Information
AGE
CONVENTIONS
Diamonds: 3-7 years old
Junior: 8-11 years old
Teen: 12-18+ years old
COMPETITIONS
Little Diamonds: 3-5 years old
Diamonds: 6-8 years old
Emeralds: 9-11 years old
Preteen: 12-14 years old
Teen: 15-17 years old
Adult: 18 & up
ABILITY
Beginning: Less than two years of study.
Elementary: Two, three, and four years of study.
Junior: Five, six, and seven years of study.
Senior: More than seven years of study.
CATEGORIES
Ballet/Lyrical/Modern: Includes routines that are ballet, lyrical or modern, classical or contemporary, flat slippers or point.
Jazz/Hip Hop: Includes all jazz styles, from “Show Jazz” to Hip Hop.
Tap/Musical Theatre: This category is for all tap routines, however, clogging should enter the Ethnic category
Variety Acro/Cultural Dance: This is the category for any dance routines with acrobatic tricks or contortionist work.

ENTRY FEES
$125 – Solo
$60 – Per Person, Duo/Trio
$50 – Per Person, Group
$55 – Per Person, Production Number
$120 – Per Costume (regardless of the number of dancers)
PROPS
Props are allowed in all categories.
TUMBLING/LIFTS/ACRO
Tumbling-type moves are allowed in every category and include cartwheels.
VOCALIZATION
We have two categories allowing vocalization: Tap/Musical and Variety Arts/Acro/Cultural Dance.
MUSIC
Approximately 10 days before the competition, you will receive a music upload link with your final confirmation packet.
TIMING
Any performance that exceeds the time limit will receive a substantial 25-point deduction. Production numbers must be under seven (7) minutes and all other routines must be under three (3) minutes.
AWARDS
We have ribbons for every dancer! We have trophies, rosettes, and cash prizes for certain categories, ability levels, and age groups. Click here for more details.
LATE ENTRIES & CHANGES
A $20 fee will be assessed for each late entry and for omissions and changes that you request.
HOTEL
Hotel information is listed on each Pre-Registration.
MISCELLANEOUS
There are no restrictions on a dancer’s number of entries. Dancers may enter several routines in the same category. Dancers may also enter in multiple cities with the same routines and/or with new ones. Routines from previous years are eligible for re-entry.
